Hi Mary,
I thought I answered you but mixed it all up. So, another Aussie eh. I hail from Melbourne. You like WW2 history, my great love is the WW1. I have been to the battlefields on the Somme in France and in Belgium as well.
The other night I heart that my Australian Historical Romance
Storm Girl has made it to the semi-finals of the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award, which was rather exciting.

Audio books sound exciting.

Crosswind was published as an audio book by Elmtree (Canada). The 'famous American tv actor' who narrated it had a strange idea of the Aussie accent (sounded sort of Irish-American) and there were so many mistakes in it that I couldn't own up to it.

Is Crosswind an audible book? Oooh, I think those are good things! I'd love to "hear" my book!

There's something about soft, cuddly toys. They're so undemanding of anything but our love and hugs. If humans could be so easy to live with...!

Hello Mary, Yes, he's gorgeous isn't he, I've had a 'love affair' with bears all my life! I found this one while on holiday in Marysville. LOL Warm regards, Carol

Miss Mae, et al,
Potted Bio: Life began with a huge disadvantage. I fell in love at age 3 with aeroplanes. This is not a good start for a little girl. My second love came soon after: writing. It's tough to combine the two, so when I quit working the galley for British Airways I came to Australia for adventure.
I love reading; hate most of what tv stations churn out as 'entertainment'. I believe in romance, the power of the feline and my ability to cast the occasional spell on anyone who's wronged me. (Probably inherited from my maternal grandmother, who openly admitted to being a witch!) Don't worry, though. It has to be a very serious 'wrong'!

Strange for me too Mary, but I just blame my insecurities on being left-handed :-)

No, not Lismore. Tenterfield, actually. I'll keep my eyes open for Broken Hero.
Nancy Wake's my kind of heroine, Yeah!
