And the Time Travel was Accepted

Yeah! The Vintage line of The Wild Rose Press took my time travel, called "A Train through Time," about a woman who boards a new sleek silver train to attend a women's studies seminar in Seattle only to wake up on a historical train with a group of Victorian era reenactors...or so she believes. It was great fun to write. I really can't wait to see what kind of cover they come up with!

Thanks for all the well wishes.

And I've Finished my Time Travel!

Signed it, sealed it, wrote the synopsis and sent if off by carrier pigeon (virtually speaking of course.). I shouldn't say though because I might hex myself and very well get an e-mail from an editor saying, "Are you kidding? What is this drivel?" But that's it. It's in the can! How many more euphamisms and metaphors can I come up with? Wish me luck all! If you don't hear back from me on the subject, you should all just discreetly look away when next you see me.

I'm pleased to join Historical Fiction Book

Hi all, Thanks to Anne Whitfield for opening up the site. It looks great. I write contemporary and paranormal (so far) for The Wild Rose Press and have four books with them. My first book, "Love of My Heart," a light fantasy/paranormal is set in 1885 and current day. My fifth book, my work in progress is set primarily in 1900, so I'm knee deep in historical research and find this an excellent time to join a group on historical fiction. I'm pleased to be here and to meet all of you. A lot of fa… Continue

Of course they are....all you need a a few seconds of time and bam...you historical. Merlin will get ya there in a swish of his wand. :) I'm caught in First Century Rome at the present and havin' a ball. It all started with King Arthur who became a Celtic chief who then ran into a Roman (you can't deal with a Celt without running onto a Roman, ya know) and got stuck there...in Rome.
Enjoy
