A "review" of Tim's OAKLAND PARK.

Good evening to the members of Historical Fiction Books. I have finished Tim's free download, a 227 page novel titled OAKLAND PARK. If you'd like a lift, read his humorous, witty story of Sir Thomas and Lady Ann, their several daughters (I couldn't figure out exactly how many), and four sons. I believe, with some revisions and clarifications, it could develop into a series of sorts--the life, times, and escapades of a large, well-to-do family. Celia's article on The Wild Rose Press about Historical Clothing

Hello, friends, one and all. If you have a teensy bit of free time, please look at my article titled HISTORICAL CLOTHING FOR THE HERO AND HEROINE. Also, there are ten websites to find correct clothing for the period of 1700 to 1920, men, women, and children. Thank you, Celia www.celiayeary.com

Thanks, Celia,
I love your book cover and I appreciate your taking me on as a friend. Your book sounds intriguing! I have not written a western historical yet, but I'm considering it in the future. Right now I am in the 1870s but will find my way further along perhaps next time and maybe over in Texas or thereabouts.

Did I also tell you how much I liked your name?

My book just came out this week. I am pretty excited about it myself.

Dear Friends-I wrote a one-page essay, a funny tribute to my mother, and got $500 for it!!!You may read it on-line, if you like, at www.texascooppower.com Go to Contents, find OBSERVATIONS (A Permanent Memory, by Celia Yeary.) I'm sorry the art work is not posted--it's as cute as can be--a 1950's kitchen, complete with a pink stove! Celia Yeary
