I wrote for fourteen years before getting THE CALL from Steeple Hill, offering me a 3-book contract to write inspirational historical romances. I've been writing for them ever since, and am now working on my 10th manuscript. I enjoy the regency period as well as Victorian England and downeast Maine.
When I'm no researching or writing, I like to garden, walk, or read (for fun!)
Winter Is Past
Wild Rose
Lilac Spring
Dawn in my Heart
The Healing Season
The Rogue's Redemption
Hearts in the Highlands
Favourite Books
The Guardian King series by Karen Hancock
anything by Grace Livingston Hill
Persuasion and Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen
anything by Georgette Heyer
Hi, thanks for asking. I have been contracted with The Wild Rose Press to publish a short story as an e-book. It was a contest entry that didn't win but caught the editor's eye. I am waiting for her to send me edits, and I don't yet know when it will be published.
Hi Therese,
I just tried to post a comment on your blog (you mentioned it on the historical loop), but I didn't see anywhere to post comments.
I just wanted to say, about the subject of corsets, my daughter had just seen something on tv about a woman who had worn all the time (even at night) for I don't know how long, and her waist was actually hourglass-shaped.
Anyway, liked your blog! Looks good
