- hey all..
i am an aspiring romance author.... uni student and mum....
and now i have two minutes to spare i shall throw in here a bit more info about me...
well.. i am 39.. about to hit the big 40 this year.. and frankly it does not worry me in the least.... i am also a kiwi... (which means for those of you who do not know... means i am from New Zealand...).. which is a truly fabulous country... and i miss it terribly.. however i do console myself that it is only one plane trip away.. and hopefully it isn't going to sink anytime soon.. so one day i shall be back there amongst the mountains.. beaches.. and forests that i love so much...
at this moment in my life... we are living in the southwest of australia... having dragged our poor kids..from nz to china..to a number of spots in australia... queensland... the Pilbara.. Perth.. and now southwest... ... we did promise at some stage to let them finish high school at one school.... mmmm seem to have failed with that promise.. but they have forgiven us....
I am nearly finished my bachelor of education.. which i am enjoying tremendously... the only down side is ..it means that i have little time for writing.. which has become something of an all consuming passion.... the people i have met, the friends i have made through writing have been absolutely fabulous... and the stories.. that i keep trying to get onto the computer... i hope will one day be at a high enough level to submit to someone... :)
but never mind.. i are very simply enjoying the ride.. and the learning journey....so drop me a line.... and i will look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible....

Thanks for adding me as a friend. Would love to visit NZ one day. I worked with a girl from NZ but her visa wasn't extended so she went back & then moved to Oz too. She made me very curious about her country.
So, one of your wips is set in Scotland? Intriguing! ;-)

How awesome that you're from NZ! Like every other American, I've wanted to go there ever since seeing LOTR. :) Maybe someday.
I'm amazed that you ever have time to write, given all the moving you do! Keep at it, and one day you'll be holding your book in your hands. I never dreamed I'd be this close myself!
