Same to you, Bess! I'm glad to be here. My journalism background really helped when I started writing fiction. When I worked for an afternoon newspaper I had to start writing at 8 a.m. whether I felt inspired or not. Now I write first thing in the morning and get wrapped up in the story.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome! This is a wonderful idea, Anne. I'm actually not from Tennessee, Carol B. I come from closer to your place on the planet, Detroit! My husband's from Texas, and we lived there a lot of years before moving to Georgia and then to Chattanooga. I've never been to Westmoreland but all of Tennessee I've seen is gorgeous. Thanks for the friend request! I see you're from TN, my DH was born and raised there. He's from Westmoreland, TN. Ever heard of it? It's sort of on the KY-TN border. We go there about twice a year. Beautiful country!
