I have begun a plunge into our writers' Darwinian "struggle for existence" as my publisher is sending the ARCs for ROCAMORA to the big industry publications, newspapers, and people of influence for postive reviews and blurbs.
I am aware newspapers like the L.A. TIMES receive 700 books each week hoping for mention, smaller newspapers several hundred, and the rest including where I live cannabalize reviews from the rest. Still, we persevere.
