Dear Jacquie
I am so sorry if my message confused you yesterday - they don't appear to be coming through properly.
I invited you over to Unusual Historical Blog to read an interview they have posted there for this week. Anyone leaving a comment gets put into a draw for a copy of my novel, Duking Days Rebellion.
It’s at: http://unusualhistoricals.blogspot.com/
Many thanks for your persistence and serves me right for using a shortcut!

Hi Jackie, Glad to be your friend. My chest is becoming as famous--if not as spectacular--as Dolly Paarton's. Can't seem to get it changed. Oh, well. Guess it'll make my link unique. Cheers! Happy new year. jean harrington
Hi Jacqui - Thought I might mention that I read Mary Renault's biography. It was interesting. She began her working life as a nurse and of course, ended as a best selling novelist, living in Africa. I can't remember which part. Whether it was the old Rhodesia. I gave the book away so I can't remember who wrote it. You might be interested to get a copy. I imagine a library could have a copy or you might get one on ebay. Laurel
Hi Jacquie,
Thank you for inviting me onto your site.
I loved The King Must Die by Mary Renault too. It spoilt me for her other books, which I didn't enjoy as much. All the best with the success of you Faery book. It's a little hard to believe fairies have romances remembering the fairy stories when a child, but then Shakespeare wrote about them. Have a Happy Xmas. Laurel
Hi Jacquie, Yes, I have read her mythology and the Madelaine LaBatard books....great. Seems to me I read somewhere that she was having a hard time getting a contract for more of the Madelaine mysteries. I think she also has a couple of science fiction ebooks out which she has written with another author....maybe Mercedes Lackey? I haven't read those. What a very talented author she is.
This is a whole way of communicating over the internet. I think it is going to be fun.

I'm thrilled to be on your friends list and I look forward to lively exchanges with everyone in the network.
I'm not selling tickets for the movie Push Not the River yet because some books get option and then nothing happens for years.
Looks like you've been busy, too!
Best,
Jim
I would be honored!
May the New Year grant your wishes.

Jim
