The Holiday Happened.

I loved every minute of those 6 weeks with my husband and 15 yr old granddaughter in faraway Europe but there's no place like home.
I've written a couple of 'dark' episodes & one special one (I'll add the great ones later) on my blog at Bebo, http://www.bebo.com/WendyL38 with some photoes in the Holiday album and a separate widget of photoes relating to The Unhewn Stone.

About Switzerland - we spent 5 days in the Lake Luzern area and 2 in Zurich, before we caught the plane home to Sydney vi… Continue

My first Blog entry

Hello to everyone in Cyberspace.

It's great to have writing friends from all over the world and sometimes when those friends are in my own country we get together and talk writing.

I had a wonderful time in Western Australia when I met up with two of my fellow critiquers for the first time last November.

This Sunday I'll be meeting two more in Sydney for the second time. One comes from Sydney, she was my NaNo buddy, and the other from Germany.

It's wonderful to be

thanks Wendy for your congratulations about Wind from Danyari. It's a great thrill to see my station family on the page. May your book, 'The Unhewn Stone' be published soon. Laurel

Lovely interview, Wendy. Not long-winded at all. LOL. Your family setting sounds beautiful, surrounded by all those creative minds. And I'm intrigued to find another F1 fan amongst my writing friends. :-)
Best wishes,
Stephanie

Wendy, Definitely tape video and take pictures by the wazoo while in Switz. In the Jan issue of RWR is an article about making video...Good article. Also, check out Movie Maker or Adobe whatever that movie prg is and Yes, You can do all you need to do. Don't worry NOW about length tho. Get product first; it's easy to cut.
Thank you for your praise, but I'm braindead now and have no clue what I have done. But, I will share what bits I do have/find. When you return home, we'll talk more about powerpoint and movie maker. In the mean time...shoot shoot shoot.
I'm going down to Lafe Ak to a Roman thing and am going to video for the first time too. Gonna be fun.

Oh No. Not blessed without Broadband. I have to make a video for my book's promo and up load it to several sites. Twice today I've been reminded of this by you and Ginger Simpson who entered her video in a contest.
When I'm in Switzerland in May I should not only photograph but video some of the setting spots of The Unhewn Stone. I should be able to do that on a small digital camera, shouldn't I. How long should the total video be. About 3 minutes. I figure about 20 second segments. That would give me 9 points of interest. And can you 'splice' - my Dad spliced the tape on the movie camera - That dates me, eh!
For someone who claims to have little attention for detail, you certainly contradicted yourself with this achievement. I envy you.

I do understand. You may be blessed because of that. I nearly went nuts trying to figure this thing out. Thanks for the encouragement

I have no patience or talent for detail in about anything. Soooo I limit my sewing experience with curtains and bedspread. I did my daughter's entire bedroom, canopy and all. She was four. When she was twenty eight, I made a set for my bedroom. I am not trained and have a talent to make a 12 inch ruler become 11 or 14. So I have to keep the items on a liberal scale. I have of late tried making Roman attire for myself. Not bad. Fortunately, it is loose fitting.
If I ever get this Powerpoint project working I'll have a few shows to put up here that has my pictures for my manuscripts to show. Lots to learn. Take care
