I'm a student of the American Civil War and as a result much of my writing centers on the that era and the people who "lived" it.

I'm a long time member and past officer of Pennwriters, Inc. A group of writers in all genres and formats. I feel that the group as a whole and the members individually are greatly responsible for getting my writing carreer on the right track.

Favourite Books
Anything with mystery, suspense, and action. I've even been known to pick up a sci fi. I like horror (Stephen King), and Clancey, Janet Evanovick, Victoria Thompson, and soooo many more.

As long as a book is well written, has strong characters and a logical plot I'll enjoy it.

Well hi there Wanda, fancy meeting you here. I just joined in March and am still perusing the member's pages. I'm not very good at all this promotional stuff and getting my name out there. Still seems 'pushy' to me and I'm not that kind of person. Are you going to the firearms workshop? I'm not sure how far away it is from you, but they are having guns from the Civil War and other eras. I can't wait.

Hi Wanda...great to see another Wingie here! While I am a passionista of another civil war, my father is a student of the American Civil War so I have some of his interest in it. My family and I had a wonderful holiday some years ago poking around some of the civil war battlefields, most notably Antietam where my great+ grandfather lost an eye!
