Reader Review for "Said the Spider to the Fly"

Ashley Ludwig, author of the inspirational romance, "All or Nothing" has given a FIVE-star review to my romantic suspense, "Said the Spider to the Fly."

Ms. Ludwig says: "...I have to admit, just the title and cover blew me away. I had to read this book to find out what tangled web of deception, intrigue, and murder that brings possible heiress Mona Murphy and the rakish-handsome insurance investigator, Preston Hitchcock together. That said, I wasn't disappointed. I was completely surprised by "who done it" (WILL NOT GIVE AWAY A SPOILER!!) And the romance was sweet, engaging, and a lovely way to see this exciting story through to the end. Miss Mae expertly weaves all the fun, flirtation, intrigue, twists, turns, and joy of a good old fashioned mystery/thriller. By the end you'll be wondering if Preston and Mona aren't the next Nick and Nora Charles. Definitely a good, fun, fast read for lovers of mystery/romance!"

Thank you, Ms. Ludwig!

Double Hitter Today!

Today, my historical romantic mystery, "It's Elementary, My Dear Winifred" has received another wonderful review. Orange Blossom of Long and the Short of It says: "...All the characters are so distinct. I could almost hear the intonation of their voices. I definitely had a visual in my head from the word picture presented by the author. Miss Mae is definitely becoming one of my MUST READ authors. The whole thing was like one of those fun houses at the circus except it wasn't so fun for the characters as doors slide shut, rooms disappear, etc, etc... Who knows what puzzle they’ll have to solve to move on to the conclusion?"

Thank you Orange Blossom! Her whole review can be read here!

And also today I'm featured at fellow Class Act Books author, Rebecca J. Vickery's blog. She interviews Miss Mae to where *gasp* the audience learns a startling secret!

Join the fun. We'll see you under the magnolia trees in sultry South Carolina. :)

Glad you got to see it this time. Don't worry, as soon as the audio book hits the stores I'll be making a BIG announcement. The music was rather good wasn't it. I can say that because it was Graeme, who produced it who picked it, and I just had to agree to his choice if I liked it. He's a little Scottish genius, but then of course, you know my friend Mr Spooky too don't you Mae? lol

Best regards

Ah,

I see. That's ok. I don't know why it should say that, as I've just played it from my page and it was ok. Very odd. Please try again and let me know Mae.

Best regards

Mae, I'm not sure whatyou meant by your comment on the video. The book is of course available in both paperback and e-book at present. I'm a little confused by you asking if it's available?

Sorry if I seem thick!

Best regards

Hi Mae,

I don't know all the details yet, but my publisher says that they are a UK based, 'Full Service Audio Studio' who produce some of the best quality audio books around. apparently there is a bigger market for audio than there is for e-books and they are particularly popular with people on the move, and of course the disabled. I'm just delighted that the book will have yet another channel open to it.

Best regards and thanks for your kind words.

Brian
