I was raised in Florida where summers were too hot to stay outside unless you were at the beach. My first book was Little Engine that Could, which my sister read to me so many times I memorized it. To this day I can quote it by memory. By the time I discovered Nancy Drew mysteries I was hooked on books and have been ever since. In my other life I taught music but now I write historical fiction and non-fiction. My latest release is Jeanne of Clairmonde, a medieval romance, which I just learned got a 4 Star review from Romantic Times. The book also finaled in the Royal Palm Literary Award (published book category) sponsored by the Fla. Writers Assn. Final winners will be announced at the conference in October. In 2010, Five Star will release one of my historical novels.
Scroll down to watch the trailer for Jeanne of Clairmonde.
I see a lot of familiar names here from other historical fiction groups.
