Profile Information

About Me:
Anne Whitfield is an Australian author, married with three children.
I've been writing for over eleven years and been a reader for a lot longer.
A love of historical fiction started at an early age and soon the stories in my head
demanded to be heard. While researching for my hobby, genealogy, I began to write my first
novel and, the stories that had been company for years, suddenly became real on the page.

I'm also active within the writing and reader community. I'm a member of Romance Writers
Australia, Romance Novelists Association UK and Historical Novel Society.

My passions, apart from writing, are reading, researching, genealogy, collecting Victorian diaries, roaming historical sites, buying books and gardening.

Historical Saga Novels blog

I'm organising a new blog http://historicalsaganovels.blogspot.com
This blog is to highlight UK saga novels to those readers who have never tried a family saga before.
The blog is only new, but there are some big UK saga author names as contributors, and we hope the blog becomes a place for readers to go to learn about the authors and their books and the genre.

Regards, Anne.~

Black Diamonds, The Rise and Fall of an English Dynasty by Catherine Bailey.
