Rosemary Sutcliff was probably my biggest influence growing up with her Rider of the White Horse, sending me on a quest to learn all I could about Sir Thomas Fairfax.

Alison, Friends who were involved in CW re-enactment were the ones to get me involved. Late in life, and at a time when I was starting to take my writing seriously. It all worked out to the good. I try to learn as much about the people of that era as I can and make my novels accurate.
