Historical Fiction Books

Historical Fiction Books for you!

I need some advice on how to go about getting endorsements from published historical fiction authors. I just finished the 3rd book in my American Revolutionary War series, and it's due to release in January. So far I have not been effective at getting endorsements from published authors for my novels, though they get great reviews from readers. I really have a hard time pushing myself forward and asking for favors like this.

I need advice on who would be a good fit for this series, how you go about getting authors' contact info, and how to approach them. Since this is book 3, they would probably have to read the first 2 books first. How do you handle this, and what success have you had getting multi-published authors to endorse your work?

I guess I'll respond to this myself. lol! I've actually made headway, but it's because of one of my Sheaf House authors, Michelle Sutton, who probably knows every CBA author in the world. She's lining up a host of them, and I've gotten a couple myself. So I guess the secret is get somebody to do it for you who has connections!

Greetings,

I was just looking into this myself a couple of days ago, and thought I'd share a fantastic article I found when I googled the topic... This is a must read article for anyone interested in getting author blurbs for their books.

Getting Blurbs...

I hope this helps.
