Indiana Sues Book Publisher

Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter is suing book publisher Airleaf, formerly known as Bookman Marketing, for accepting payment from authors and not following through on its promises to provide book publishing, royalty reimbursement and promotional services.

The vast majority of publishers believe experimentation and innovation are crucial to the success of their company moving forward, a survey conducted by the BISG and the Idea Logical Company found. The results of the survey were presented at Friday's Making Information Pay seminar, along with first-hand accounts from industry members who have already taken the plunge in new areas.
